We almost never manage to cook them either, there has to be an exceptional pea glut for us not to eat them straight from pod, often in front of the TV watching Wimbledrone! The farmer had 1500 acres of peas spread over Yorks, Derbys, Notts and Lincs. It didn't put me off peas though.
